The View from the Back of the Church

It is a large church with seating in a half circle around the platform. We've staked out seats at the back and at the congregation-right side. Our tier of seating is separated from the aisle by a low wall. Every Sunday a man in a wheelchair positions himself right in front of our wall. He has a service dog named Lucy. We've come to refer to this as Lucy's corner. Hence the title of the blog.

This back-of-church perspective suits me. It matches my life perspective. I'm a little older and I'm viewing things from the back-of-life.

From here I see lots of a funny things, and lots of things that make me think. I'm starting this blog to share some of the humor and some of the thoughts.

By way of disclaimer - I'm imperfect. If you disagree with me you're probably right. Or maybe it is just a matter of taste, of personal preference. My aim here isn't to solve grand problems but to have a little fun. But I worry I might accidentally offend someone. I'm going to be anonymous at the beginning but you may figure out who I am - how many Lucy's are there? I invite dialog and hope to keep this funny and fun without getting into strong debate.
